MARTIN O'DONNELL

Mayo singer and musician Martin O'Donnell has written a song called 'Giuseppe', in memory of Giuseppe Conlon, who was wrongly imprisoned in Britain for terrorist offences in 1975, and died in captivity before he was fully exonerated of the crime.

From country to folk, pop to traditional, Martin is a passionate performer with an instinctive ability to please his audience. He has been leader of a number of music groups over the years, and is a well-known figure on the local entertainment scene. Martin currently leads the band Hup, a group of musicians whose lively show regularly plays venues across the region.
