Following the announcement of a mouth-watering line-up for this year’s second chapter of All Together Now, it has been confirmed that tickets are fully sold out! If you are one of the lucky ticket holders you are in for one amazing weekend of music, with music by acts such as The National, Patti Smith, Hot Chip and Neneh Cherry.

We’ll be joined by our critically acclaimed headliners THE NATIONAL, Irish outfit FONTAINES D.C. for their only Irish festival this year, punk rock artiste PATTI SMITH, UK indie-electro kings HOT CHIP plus FATHER JOHN MISTY, supergroup THE GOOD THE BAD & THE QUEEN, the iconic NENEH CHERRY and a whole host of incredible artists who will be joining us this August Bank Holiday weekend for the second chapter of All Together Now.
We are now happy to reveal yet more amazing acts who will be joining our burgeoning music bill.
UK 4 piece BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB have released four albums, with the most recent being ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’ in 2014, which reached No 1 in the UK. The band announced a hiatus in 2016, with a legendary grand finale featuring Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour. This January, the band have been teasing fans with hints that they may return to the stage and have been working on new music. The band released a 27-second YouTube clip, featuring an instrumental passage of new music, which appeared suddenly online this January. It has been 7 years since the band have played in Ireland, and we are absolutely thrilled that they will be making their return to Ireland by gracing our stage this summer. In addition to their appearance at All Together Now, the band have also announced that they will be performing at the Cork Opera House on Saturday, 3 August. Tickets for this show will be €30 ex. Booking fee and go on sale at 9am this Friday, 5 April from Ticketmaster and the Cork Opera House Box Office.
Michigan-born Reykjavik resident JOHN GRANT has had an instantly acclaimed solo career and chart success with his debut solo record Grey Tickles, which went Top Five in the UK. He received a Best International Male Solo Artist nomination at the 2014 BRITS. Sinead O’Connor and Tracey Thorn have guested on Grant’s records, he’s sung live with Alison Goldfrapp and Kylie Minogue, performed at the 2017 Songs Of Scott Walker (1967-70) BBC Prom, and co-written/sung on Hercules & Love Affair and Robbie Williams albums. He recorded the “Kindling” duet with Forbidden Fruit headliners Elbow. His recent release Love Is Magic is just the latest instalment in Grant’s astonishing story.
An outspoken voice in the normally non-confrontational world of electronic dance music, MOODYMANN (Kenny Dixon Jr.) will be making his Irish festival debut with us at All Together Now. The Moodymann sound is a hybrid form of techno/house dance music arrived at via innovative use of reworked riffs, samples and grooves. While he may frustrate people with his refusal to be interviewed and insistence on reminding people of the genre’s origins, the soulfulness of his output is unquestioned. Utilizing classic soul and jazz samples, low-slung bass lines and an approach to drum programming that is diametrically opposed to the tendency to push the tempo faster and faster, he has achieved classic status thanks to gems like “Sunday Morning”, “Shades of Jae”, and his remix of Innerzone Orchestra’s “People Make the World Go Round”. Following years of 12″ only releases, he compiled his best work on “Silentintroduction”, one of the most celebrated albums of the late 90s.
BRIT award and double Mercury Music Prize-nominated ANNA CALVI will be taking to the stage at All Together Now for what is certain to be an incredible solo performance. Hunter, her third long player was released on 31st August 2018. Produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Grinderman) it has a new rawness, a primal energy into which songwriter and virtuosic guitarist Calvi pushes the limits of her guitar and voice beyond anything she’s recorded before. The first new music since 2014’s collaborative release with David Byrne, Strange Weather EP, her self-titled debut album and the 2013 follow-up One Breath, Hunter is a visceral album exploring sexuality and breaking the laws of gender conformity. A queer and a feminist record, it is galvanising in its hunt for freedom.
GUS DAPPERTON has gone from bedroom dreamer to headlining artist in a short period of time, and with due cause. He quietly ascended to the forefront of the pop conversation on the heels of viral smashes such as “Prune, You Talk Funny” and “I’m Just Snacking,” averaging around 1 million monthly Spotify listeners, selling out shows worldwide, and earning acclaim from i-D, Vogue, The Fader, Pigeons & Planes and more. Just this month, Gus played two sold out Button Factory shows. Missed them? Now’s your chance to catch him live!
UK-based Grammy winning producer and composer TOURIST (William Phillips) released his sophomore album Everyday in February of this year. His deft, unique style, pairs gossamer melodies with an astute use of technical flair. Soothing synths build to a taut, muscular percussive element. Tourist is widely considered one of the most thoughtful producers around, expertly balancing intricate layering, airy minimalism and subtle surprises.
Russian punk protest organization and band PUSSY RIOT will be merging of punk, electronica, theatre, documentary footage and protest. Champions of rebellion and freedom of expression, the feminist punk collective made headlines in 2012 when they donned balaclavas and bright tights to protest their president, Vladimir Putin, at one of Russia’s holiest sites. They stormed the altar of Moscow’s Christ the Saviour Cathedral to perform part of Punk Prayer – a screamed song with “holy virgin, drive Putin away” amongst its lyrics – before security guards seized them. The protest kicked off an intensely publicised legal saga culminating in prison sentences for 2 band members.
Also making their Irish festival debut are KOKOKO! KOKOKO! is a collective born in Kinshasa capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a creative collision of different artists which fused at a block party. It consists of musical instrument inventors from the Ngwaka neighbourhood, electronic producer débruit, Makara Bianko (aka the Lingwala devil) and his dancers bursting forth from the Lingwala neighbourhood. They’re best known for creating a contemporary aesthetic all their own by rewiring and up-cycling materials such as metal, cans, engine parts and plastic containers found in Kinshasa’s streets into vital sculptural resonant dance music. Their distorted fast rhythms and spontaneous lo-fi electric sounds provide the chaotic soundtrack for the city’s harsh yet abundantly creative realities.
There’s a huge amount of hype around Selhurst quartet BLACK MIDI, who will also be making their Irish festival debut. They have been receiving critical acclaim from audiences and bands alike, with bands like Shame dubbing them “disturbingly brilliant”. Their reputation has been built entirely on word of mouth and, as yet, they have no songs on Spotify. This band are taut, frenetic, inventive, and with an off-kilter sound that is completely their own. Bring it on.
RIMON’s story is one of a kind.One of the coolest new singer-songwriters on the scene, Rimon relocated from a religious community in Eritrea to Germany – and later the Netherlands, where she now calls home. Rimon herself gets inspiration from all angles; feeding off her environment, the books she reads, struggles experienced, conversations had and strong women like Nina Simone, Maya Angelou and Erykah Badu. Describing her sounds as fusion of neo soul and hip-hop, this will be her Irish debut.
Next up: THE CLAQUE. Corrosive guitar noise linked to industrial electronics, the Dublin trio’s avant pop instincts make each song deeply accessible. The band features Girl Band guitarist Alan Duggan, Jet Setter and Postcard Versions guitarist Paddy Ormond and singer Kate Brady. Their debut single Hush was released earlier this month, already gaining them some serious fans.
THE WAILERS will bring their legendary and revolutionary sound to Curraghmore Estate, too. Steered by famed bassist and founder Aston “Familyman” Barrett, and joined in solidarity with original Wailers’ guitarist Donald Kinsey, The Wailers continue to create musical history. If you can’t wait until August to get your reggae fix, catch them at Dublin’s Vicar St venue on Tuesday, 23 July. Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster.
Set across 16 stages, All Together Now will feature natural amphitheatres, secret woodland stages, the Belonging Bandstand and more. The flow of the festival will mean that the grounds will be easily navigable, intimate but with quirky gems, rolling lawns, gentle hills and hidden forests to enjoy the nature of this 3000 acre site.
This 3-day camping festival will provide you with an incredible setting in which to set up your tent or unpack in our bespoke accommodation options, ready to dive right into the site. Those with families can make their 3 day home in our Family Camping Area, an independent space to retreat to with your little ones. We have taken measures for this forthcoming year to ensure there will be plenty of transport links from all main hubs.
