Barefoot Magicians have been hankering for a sound somewhere in between traditional blues and rock.
With their new EP Hangin’ On they have found that middle ground, and a sound they describe as ‘modern blues’.
Barefoot Magicians formed in early 2017 after a recording session in Dublin’s prestigious Windmill Lane Studios.
They dedicate themselves to writing and performing original material based around a blues groove.

The band recorded The Awakening EP, with three tracks: The Awakening, Cruel Mistress and Rider in early 2018. And they recorded an additional two songs with producer Kieran Lane at Hellfire Studios in Dublin, which were released in early 2019.
Barefoot Magicians members include Dave Greene on harmonica and vocals, Graham Stewart on guitars, Brian Steemers on drums and percussion, Paraic Carroll on bass and Petra žižak on keyboards and mandolin.
