Mayo’s Rowlette knows how to create an intimate vocal track, heard superbly in her new track called Letters.
Rowlette, aka Sarah Keane, is an indie-pop artist, hailing from Ballina. As a solo performer with an acoustic guitar, she is known for her powerful vocals, inspirational lyrics and captivating performances.
Rowlette’s releases have received radio play on stations across the country, and racked up tens of thousands of plays on Spotify.
Well known on the Irish live scene, Rowlette performed a packed-out headliner in Crowbar last Autumn. She then proceeded to join Jack L on his latest tour, performing in venues across the country, including a solo set in Cork Opera House on New Years Eve.
Said Rowlette:“Letters is a slow-pop story about a friend of mine who I hadn’t spoken to in a long time and was trying to get back in touch with. Given the current climate, it could be a nice reminder to people to reach out to old friends in this lonely time.”
The song is influenced by artists such as Sorcha Richardson, Dermot Kennedy and Alice Merton, and is now available from digital platforms.
