The talent pool from BIMM just keeps on giving. This leading Dublin college has produced some fine songwriters, producers and musicians, and Kexin Andrews (aka Kevin Donnelly) is another name just added to that roster.
From Islandeady, near Castlebar, Kexin has adopted this stage name to coincide with the release of his debut single Siren, a fascinating creative journey down a dark musical path.

The 22-year old songwriter is in his final year at BIMM, which is the largest and leading provider of music education in Europe, guiding students into the complex world of the music industry. He is studying vocals, along with songwriting, music business and project management.
He had gained some formal music experience through teachers Anne Marie Gibbons and Hugh Francis. Then, as a student in Davitt College, Castlebar, where music is a treasured subject on the curriculum, Kevin Donnelly played a lead role in the Transition Year musical Hairspray.
Kexin has written and produced Siren himself, with plans for an EP release in October.
It is available to buy (for just €0.99) on Apple Music, Amazon and Google Play, but can also be streamed via platforms like Spotify, Soundcloud, Deezer, Tidal and Napster.
